“A very good time at Melissa’s house“
I stayed with Melissa’s host family for two weeks in July 2018. During my stay, I was mostly the only student present (during my first two days, there was a Spanish girl with me). I had a great time at Melissa’s house, we did a lot of activities like going to the beach, or visiting a castle that was nearby, walking in the forest, going to the movies, or just going out all together at night.
We can imagine that with three young children in the house, the vacation will not be so charming, but the children were very nice to me and it was quite fun to take care of them and play with them. This did not prevent me from enjoying my stay.
What I liked the most during my trip was the Irish landscape with many hills. It’s a beauty I’m not used to because I live near Paris.
